Dr. Kevin Kackley
Dr. Kevin Kackley is the owner of the Mt Sterling and Rushville Veterinary Clinics P.C. The practice was established in 1984 and has steadily grown to a thriving 6 doctor practice. Dr. Kackley concentrates on bovine and small animal medicine and surgery along with practice management and overall direction. Dr. Kackley is a past president of the Illinois Veterinary Medical Association and served as a board member of the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association for 8 years.
Dr. Kackley has lived in Mt Sterling since graduating from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. He is married and has a son Michael and daughter Melissa. Dr. Kackley is active in the Mt Sterling community. He served on the school board for 15 years, is a past member of the Brown County development Board, and he is also a member of the First Baptist Church.
Dr. Bob Lunt
Dr. Robert Lunt is a 1971 graduate of the University of Illinois. He has practiced in the Rushville/Mt. Sterling area since 1978. His main interest is horses. He serves as a track veterinarian at the harness racing track in Springfield and surrounding areas.
Dr. Stacy Adams
Dr. Stacy Adams graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana School of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. She joined the Rushville Veterinary Clinic as an associate veterinarian in 1994. Prior to that, she was co-owner in a veterinarian hospital in Chicago. Dr. Adams concentrates strictly on small animals and preventative medicine. She has been involved as a member of the AVMA since 1982 and the ISVMA since 2003. She lives in Rushville, with her family, Al and their three dogs, Corky, Cooper, and Kirby. Locally Dr. Adams is involved as a board member of the Schuyler County Humane Society.
Dr. Wade Pollitt
Dr. Wade Pollitt graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. After completing school, he practiced in Petersburg, Illinois. Dr. Pollitt joined the Rushville and Mt. Sterling Veterinary Clinics as an associate veterinarian in 2002. He concentrates on bovine and preventative medicine. He has been involved as a member of the AVMA and the ISVMA since 1999. Dr. Pollitt is also involved in the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, the Academy of Veterinary Consultants, Society for Theriogenology and Illinois Beef Association. He lives in Rushville with his family, wife Holly and daughter Grace.
Dr. Tanya Esther
Dr. Tanya Esther, a native of Rushville, is the daughter of Gareld and Lori Ruth. Growing up, she spent much of her time on her grandfather's farm, and decided she wanted to become a veterinarian at the age of six. She belonged to the Camden Good Neighbors 4-H club where she was involved in showing her golden retrievers in obedience and showmanship. Dr. Esther graduated from Rushville High School in 1999, and went on to the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine during her junior year at Mizzou. Dr. Esther was a member of her school's Small Animal Critical Care Team, Large Animal Critical Care Team, Foal Watch, and Student Ambassador. She graduated with a D.V.M. in May of 2006 with top honors. Following graduation, Dr. Esther was hired as an associate at Homestead Veterinary Hospital, an equine/small animal practice near St. Louis, MO.
Dr. Esther married Chad Esther in 2004. Chad, also a native of Rushville, received his Bachelor's degree in Forestry from Mizzou in 2003. While in St. Louis, he owned his own forestry consulting and contracting business. Chad is now the CFO and farms for EFFCO, his family's farming business, and continues forestry consulting. The couple has a 1-year-old daughter, Avery. They reside in Rushville with their English mastiff, golden retriever, and two cats.
